What is e-souk?
e-souk (esouk.shop) is an online marketplace in Chad. Shops from N'Djamena sell fashion, home, food, electronics and more. You order online and pay cash on delivery. The site is in French, Arabic and English.
Do I need an account to order?
No. A name and a phone number are enough to place an order. A free account also keeps your orders and delivery address.
How do I pay on e-souk?
Every order is paid on delivery, in cash, when you receive your parcel. You pay nothing online.
Are the products new?
e-souk offers new and second-hand products. The condition is clearly shown on every product page, with the price, the stock available and the selling shop.
Delivery and returns
Where do you deliver?
We deliver in N'Djamena and its surroundings, to your home or to your current location, which you share when ordering.
How much is delivery?
Delivery costs 1 000 CFA francs. It is free from 50 000 CFA francs of purchases. Fees are always shown before you confirm the order.
How do I track my order?
After ordering, you get its reference and a tracking link. Each shop confirms its part, prepares it and hands it to the courier, and you see every step. If a shop cannot supply an item, it tells you why.
Can I return a product?
Yes. A product that is faulty or not as described can be returned within 7 days of receipt, in its original packaging.
e-souk and AI
Can I order on e-souk from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. e-souk connects to ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP-compatible assistants: describe what you are looking for, the assistant finds the products and prepares the order. Nothing is committed until you confirm it yourself from the link you receive, within 24 hours.
Can I search for a product with a photo?
Yes, for free. Take a photo of the item you want: e-souk recognises it and shows similar products for sale in N'Djamena. You can also type your search as a sentence, such as “a cheap phone with a good battery”.
Selling on e-souk
How do I sell on e-souk?
Open your shop in a few minutes with your phone number. It is free, with no sign-up fee and no commission on sales. You get your own address (your-shop.esouk.shop) to share on WhatsApp and social media.
How does the seller receive orders?
Each new order appears in the shop's space, with the customer's details. The seller accepts or refuses it, prepares it, then marks it as handed to the courier and delivered.
What do the Pro plan and promotion offer?
The Pro plan (5 000 CFA francs a month) adds AI: listings written from a single photo, translation into Arabic and English, and Studio captions. Promotion puts a product at the top of the home page, from 500 CFA francs a day.
